Every child deserves a healthy and comfortable place to learn. Green schools reduce illness and improve learning. They help protect the environment and save money. Unfortunately, only a tiny fraction of students across the country enjoy the overwhelming benefits of attending a green school. Too often, schools are built in a way that may inhibit students' learning and harm their health.
But each of us can make a difference. Working together, we can ignite change across the country and ensure that every child in America attends a green school within a generation.
